Given that the majority of us are self-isolating, it’s hard not to get weighed down by the uncertainty and anxieties that we face every day, especially when we have more time on our hands to do so. But in an internet-driven world, extra time doesn’t have to be wasted time. We have seen articles telling us again and again that we are not alone, but how can we connect to others in the same situation?
We’ve spoken before about the importance of using this time to form partnerships(opens in a new tab) to help grow your business. But on a personal level, finding platforms to discuss your situation with the tour operator community is just as important. Becoming part of the community will give you a much-needed, broader perspective on the situation, help you better understand the impact on your own business, and come up with possible solutions. The global world of social media provides you with the opportunity to connect with tour operators in China and other countries further along the virus timeline, allowing you to plan ahead and pick up some essential tips on how to manage your business in a post-COVID-19 world. You can find allies in the battle against the virus, learn from their different experiences, and prepare yourself for what may be the unknown for you, but something others have already overcome.
We want to share some of the best platforms to connect with your travel community.
